Lead Trainers

Rebecca Roy, CPDT-KA

Rebecca started as an intern with NEDTC 5 years ago and currently lead trains in the Steps program. She also teaches Manners classes at the Pet Republic, and volunteers as a Canine Companion at the ARL.

She was previously a dog walker for Native Dog Wellness and then Neighborhood Paws, during which time she became well versed in appropriate dog play, dog park etiquette, and dog body language. Now she offers solo walks, and one-on-one training sessions in the greater Boston area. You can reach her at

Angie Dunn

Angie was an intern with NEDTC for 2 years, and has just become a trainer for the club. She is also a dog walker and trainer for Neighborhood Paws.

Prior to NEDTC she was a trainer at Bellingham, WA’s Doggy Daycare and Dog Training School Tails-a-Wagging where she gained most of her skills as a Dog Trainer, and was a Dog Trainer at Petco before that. She volunteered with Bellingham’s Dog Rescue and Foster group Alternative Humane Society for 6 years where she learned she loved teaching people about dogs and dog behavior. She eventually adopted her senior dog Bear through them!

She also enjoys drawing cartoons and comics!

She’s currently pursuing a CPDT-KA certification, and is a member of APDT.

Nina Ragone

DogZ on Board LLC

I have been working with dogs for the past 15 years. First as owner of a dog walking service and now as a dog trainer. In 2017 I attended Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for Dog Training and Behavior, where the focus was on how dogs and humans learn from each other, recognizing behavior issues and most importantly how to find a way to implement changes to canine-human interactions.

I came to NEDTC through the VSA mentoring program. I began as an intern and have attained status as Trainer. I also assist with manners classes at Everydog LLC in Danvers. I am working towards my CPDT-KA certification.

I volunteer at Animal Rescue League in Dedham, and am a member of Massachusetts Animal Coalition and Pet Sitters Associates. I have attended numerous seminars and presentations on dog training and behavior management. I have 2 crazy Labradors Spirit and Hannah who keep me on my toes.

Carl James

I’m Carl. I have 5 years of experience working in dog walking and dog daycares. I also have 2 years working in behavior modification programs for individuals with special needs and behavioral disorders. The science of learning fascinates me, and so much of what I do revolves around it.

We couldn’t do what we do without the help of our volunteer interns.

Anne McCabe

Hi! I’m Anne, and I’ve been hanging out with dogs since I was a wee pup myself!

I’m currently an intern with NEDTC, and I have 2.5 years of dog walking/petsitting experience with Neighborhood Paws. I love dogs and am very excited to learn how to work with them on a deeper level.

The pup pictured is perfect Bella!
